ART SHOW : MIQUEL TORNER DE SEMIR

teresarius: promotors d'art has the pleasure of presenting the artwork of this big artist of the Catalan painting.

The rural populations, those that find nearly one river situated and to which a bridge gives access, are usual in the painting of Torner (Sant Pau, Girona, 1938). They all are presented with bright and luminous colors, even if a yellow moon hanged in a corner of the sky suggests nocturnal atmospheres. The night is day in its case, for he establishes with every detail the structure of the houses and the arrangement of the lands, always worked by the peasants who there are around. As the mountains, a little aggressive, that close the horizon are also perfectly noticeable. Mountains these that observe the set to protect it, but also to supervise it, since from its respective heights are considered women of the page.

The artist has a capacity of integration that allows him to be implied without never to take party for a particular option, obtains that laws of the ethics mark paths to the esthetics of the figuración.

The painter marks the silhouettes of the main elements of every composition with strong and precise lines and uses the flat and pure colors to express the feelings. When it is feasible for him he paints the picture in the picture, and makes it so that in its backgrounds there are interpretations and signs of abstract tone. This way he obtains a positive relationship between the different forms of artistic expression that motivate to him and his plastic language is made much richer and more attractive.

He has his own style that is founded on the simplicity of the accomplishment in a composition very well structured. His searched feminine figures, known as Meninas, have the deliberate forms of the religious art and express the serenity to which they have to obey all the accomplishments of the spirit. He uses the figure for asking for order and rhythm in the human actions. He communicates positive sensations with easiness in those that know his work.

ANNA MARCO

Anna Marco is already a devoted sculptress, whose work is delicate and sensual, in the idea and in the process, recreating a world that is understood by us for what it has of true and common. The expressive force of her pieces is based purely on a creative imagination that uses forms and neat but simple colorings to obtain pieces that evoke a timeless beauty, aspiration of every human being, that seems printed in the collective conscience.

In effect her work, presented as an ensemble of archetypal forms, is the result of a romantic search with the explicit will of melting the creation with an original world, impregnating her works with the same creative spirit, generator with which the nature is expressed.

Her artwork is a clearly feminine, in the form and in the sense, that finds in the glass a natural means to be shown. Anna Marco understands perfectly that the nature is a big matrix that transforms everything, from which that all the living beings go out and that to which they all return. Her sculptures claim the sense of the touch, require the perception of their textures, from the subtlest to the roughest, in a clear progression that looks for communicating different sensations.

The domination of the technique, allow her to obtain different textures, of great impact, of an innovative originality that prints to her work a personal and unmistakable stamp. Her artwork is a go and return to the natural way, to the geometrical one or to the symbolic one .
