PAQUITA VILADRICH

This autumn the painter Paquita Viladrich, born in El Poal, presents us her artwork in a double exhibition in the neighborhood of El Farró in Sant Gervasi, Barcelona. In La Coqueria of the Zaragoza street we will be able to appreciate until the 3rd of December her small sized artwork, oils and engravings, of varied subject matter and in the espai cultural francolí, venue of teresarius: promotors d'art, we will enjoy a selection of work of medium and great format.

The work of the Paquita is personal, with a stressed sense of the luminousity. The reality is the basis about the one that she structures her paintings based in reality and developes her sense of color to create an own world that transpires naturalness and leaves imprint of her pictorial sensitivity. The result is a beatiful painting, rich in details, lavish in tones, where the drawing, omnipresent because of its quality, it holds the structure of her artwork.

The espectator likes the work of Viladrich-Giné for all of this and for the fact that she transforms objects of the daily rutine in poetry, she paints them and fills in them with magic until exalts them to convert them into Art in upper case. This affection goes through the fabric and surrounds us. Her exhibitions, like her, make us feel like 'at home'. Where everything is known, calm, on the measure, used up by the use and the time... And however, where we wish to go back after a long day. Everything on her work, well carried out, settles about the global harmony, on the serene games of shadows and lights. In her artwork it rules the equilibrium, the serenity and the creative sensitivity, attaining an intensely pictorial resolution.

‘REFLECTIONS OF SUMMER' A LA DEFINED ART GALLERY, UK



The artwork of four artists represented by teresarius: promotors d'art it has been selected to be part of a collective exhibition in the United Kingdom. To open the new series of acts of autumn/winter, DeFined Art Gallery is pleased of starting the season with 'Reflections of Summer' - an exhibition that includes a thrilling group of new artists in the Gallery.

From the intense and vivid colors of the scenes of inside of Patricia Sicardi, going to the figurative work of thick stroke of Ángel Uranga, the impressionist style of Rocío Ahnert and finally the sensation enhancing of the abstract works of Jordi Guillén, these works of art, provocative and highly accomplished, they are a welcome addition in DeFined Art.

MARTÍN

This artist, painter and sculptor, born in Seville but well established in Barcelona, its highlighted because of the brightness of his palete and the simplicity of composition, standing out mainly daily objects and several means of transport, like his greatly sought after bicycles, elevating them to the category of the art in a cheerful and fun way. The artist himself is the one who offers the following words to find the key of his work.

"Lines and curves. Tangencies. They are touched and they are kissed. Great dance of simple visual elements. Stick-grate and round. Erectile black and weak lines wheels of bicycle. Rods of cast iron personified. Painted gnawed wheels to the oil. Curves and more curves. Inexhaustible orgy of primary colors that they dance chaotically and explosively with secondary ones. Deliveries continued of rolling figures in the form of visible old toys that should never fall in childish hands. Oxidized canoes that not even the more dared of the pirates dares to pilot. Aerobiplains that will never fly. Oozing canvases of acrylic one, coffee, oil, coal, watercolor, waxes, cake, chalks and blood oranges. Seem handlebars, pedals, scooters, radii, propellers, mainmasts and smaller (not few smoke), coffee pots, plugs, industrial faucets, blackandequers, corkscrew, power saws, trolleys of the Carrefour supermarket, graters, tractors without field to plough and motorcycles of when Edison, and more.

It is the dictatorship of the ordered driping of paint chaotically thrown on canvases. It is the hell of the foundry and the welding of the iron at more than 1000 centigrade degrees. Afterwards a creamy and moisturizing hand of chromatic circle and the waiting comes."
