GUIDED TOURS IN BARCELONA

Lets walk to get to know the history and culture of our city.

Making discover the city of Barcelona. This is the main goal of the new proposal of itineraries that the Espai Cultural Francolí starts in collaboration with Coneixerbcn.

There are guided walks on foot of a maximum of four hours of duration carried out for official guides and accompanied of explanatory dossiers.

We want to make the most emblematic corners, but also the unknown spaces from the majority of the people, arrive to all those that want to learn a little more about Barcelona.

The originality of the proposals and the clarity of the explanations are a part of our philosophy and we work, at all times, the necessary level of quality required by these routes with a team of official guides that they will offer you.

We want to act as the learning of the artistic, cultural and historical reality from our environment, a pleasant and fun exercise for everybody.

2008 - RODOREDA'S YEAR

"I am a daughter of Sant Gervasi de Cassoles, of a narrow and short street that, then, went from Pàdua to the stream of Sant Gervasi and that was called street Sant Antoni; later on they changed the name to street Paris and, further later on, to the name of Manuel Angelon that still preserves. Sant Gervasi is not at all much far from Gracia." - Prolog from Mercè Rodoreda in La Plaça del Diamant.

To start the new cycle of guided tours and in commemoration of the Year Rodoreda, we present you a series of literary itineraries based on the personal universe of the author, walking for the neighborhoods of the districts Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. and Gracia. Through the literature of this author from Barcelona, we want to rediscover the history and patrimony of these neighborhoods.

We are talking about guided routes on foot of a maximum of four hours of duration carried out by official guides. The activity goes accompanied with material in the form of explanatory dossiers whith fragments of the novels that keep on being read during the walk.
