Personalised and multi-disciplinary artistic promotion
Teresarius: promotors d'art, a cultural service company, decided around 2006 to place its activities on the first floor of a building situated in Carrer Francolí, Barcelona, in a pleasant pedestrian area. The premises are exceptionally well-located, between Gracia and Sant Gervasi, with two exhibition rooms and complemented with an urban garden.
For some time now, a continuing activity and growing support for established artists but above all for the young ones, together with a varied and rising cultural exhibiton offering has made the team at teresarius think about a renewal of the Espai as well as its name.
Thus, in 2007 the new Espai Cultural Francolí is born. Aiming at giving some fresh air to its work, it avoids the stereotypes that usually fill the market and exhibitions and the classic concept of gallery and art trader.
Aware of the difficulties that crowd the artists out when they try to make their way through the professional world, even when when it is necessary to find an initial suitable place to create, the Espai Cultural Francolí offers all-purpose premises and a proper line of promotion, that goes from the organisation of exhibitions and cultural events –with a piano at the clients’ disposal- to the rent of artistic pieces, decorative ideas, lanuching of books, shooting of films and TV adverts, gifts for companies and so on. The Espai wants both the artist and the client meet in a shared space where, at the same time, they can enjoy a complete and personal advice according to their necessities, giving always priority to a relaxed atmosphere.
Since its beginings, the Espai Cultural Francolí launched an all-purpose line; the viewpoint has always been not so much marked by a concrete technique but by a promotion line designed in order to favour art and quality creation, which has driven to the setting up of a complete service within artistic coordination, helping the artists focus on their work, leaving apart other matters beyond their creation. Painting, photography, sculpture and premises, national and international creators, individual clients or whole companies, public or private entities, they all fit in the Espai, whose priority, among others, is human relation, fully intending to make artits and visitors take part in a multiple cultural and, therefore, doubly enriching experience.
