Jordi starts painting by the hand of his father, Joan Tortosa, painter and professor at the Escola d´Art de Sant Cugat.

His painting is a reflection of the evolution of his own concerns. The instant, the intimate and genuine moment, the research of the nostalgia in the deepest of the mind, the place and the human being that involves him and, finally, in the development stage, the human being by itself, building up relations, knitting circumstances, dancing and setting up life.
